SEL DE VANILLE Eau de Parfum Flacon de 1,5 ml

This scent sounded like something I would really like, but couldn't find it anywhere in Canada. Usually Sephora CA carries EB, however this might have been an exclusive at a competitor store in the US, which doesn't exist here, so I took a chance and ordered from EB's website directly. Very glad I did, this scent is amazing and certainly something I am and will contunue to wear a lot. The name is perfectly accurate: it's simply vanilla and salt, yet the simplicity is wonderful and I don't want to stop smelling it! I've had this for a while now and it wears great as a stand alone or combined with other scents.

Several years ago when I first tested a EB discovery set, I fell in love with Apple Love. Vanilla Salt and Apple Love are very complimentary scent pairing / combo, so it's fun to combine them sometimes. I see Apple Love paired with Vanilla Milk, but that vanilla turns very sour / weird on me. Vanilla Salt doesn't turn sour at all and I find it really comforting and refreshing. I would suggest trying this one if you didn't like the other, while keeping in mind it isn't a heavy gourmand vanilla. This vanilla is more sophisticated and versatile which I really appreciate!

For context here are my favourite EB scents so far: Vanilla Salt, Apple Love, Queen's Caramel, Sci Fi, Sky, Florist. Sun Fruit, and the Peach Body Mist. I only have regular bottles of the 1st three with the other perfumes in travel size for now.

I’m fragrance obsessed and smell way too many perfumes whenever I’m at Ulta, so I almost never buy something right away. But this was the one I couldn’t stop thinking about. I held out for about three weeks and kept coming back to it until I finally gave in and bought a bottle.

Ocean and vanilla together… what could go wrong? Somehow it works beautifully. The vanilla isn’t overly sweet or cloying—it feels sophisticated, airy, and perfect for summer. It’s light without disappearing, and I could still smell it on my wrist about 4 hours later. This is officially becoming my go-to summer scent.
