Witty, mysterious, captivating yet imbued with a sense of humor, the Raven has held a mythic status in a variety of literature from the dark leanings of Edgar Allan Poe to the clever depictions atop Native American totem poles. This stunning peony-patchouli vies for the same complexity of character—the seduction lasts long before the first notes of mandarin and rhubarb, developing into a heady olfactive brew underlined by blond woods and liquid musks.

    Dark academia/btgg in a bottle

This was a blind buy for me, but I am so glad I bought it. I read the reviews on sephora and this smells like a library managed by a forest witch meets a BTGG vampire on a hot date. There's strong patchouli and vanilla and old leather scent. I get compliments on it all of the time. And I just love it.

    Magical Scent

When I first tried Raven I wasn't sure how I felt about it. It was strong and had an old fashioned, "scent-my-grandmother-would-have-worn" aspect to it. But after a while I came to love it. It makes me happy every time I smell it on my skin or on my clothes. It is definitely not a scent for everyone, but I love the depth and complexity of the scent, from the rich florals to the dryer notes of patchouli and musk. This is also the longest lasting of any Ellis Brooklyn scents I have tried.

Elegant, warm, and feminine vibes- like flowers and honey, and dragons blood. Raven is a beautiful perfume- my absolute favorite from this house. It’s a go to scent when I want to feel good about myself. This review is after buying for a third time, and I’ll definite buy again when my new bottle runs out. Highly recommended.
