I’ll be honest. I ordered this as a blind buy after reading the scent notes and the reviews. I smelled it out of the bottle and immediately HATED it. Sprayed on a sticky note and let that settle for a few hours and still hated it. BUT I wasn’t ready to give up on her yet. I love Ellis Brooklyn scents and I knew I had to chance it on my skin before I totally wrote it off. Once I did… GAME CHANGER. Out of the bottle it smells like the worst combo of thrift store, old lady overpowering floral and cheap aftershave. On the skin tho… it reminds me of a midnight seance or my favorite metaphysical shop or a sexy powerful witch. It’s addictive and I cannot stop pausing to take an extra deep inhale of my wrists every time I catch a whiff. Please do yourself a favor if you’re thinking of purchasing her, try it on your skin. This will be my favorite fall scent by far.

This was a blind buy for me, but I am so glad I bought it. I read the reviews on sephora and this smells like a library managed by a forest witch meets a BTGG vampire on a hot date. There's strong patchouli and vanilla and old leather scent. I get compliments on it all of the time. And I just love it.

I already love patchouli so that sold me as a base note, but I could not have imagined how pretty this smells! I am half tempted to spray this directly on my face to never have to stop smelling it. I was instantly transported to a Victorian dark academia castle surrounded by black roses and velvet and I’m never leaving.
